उस बच्चे के लिए जीवन में कभी अभिशाप से बढ़कर और कुछ नहीं, क्योंकि उसने जीवन पाया केवल संघर्ष करने के लिए और आखिर मौत ने उसे उस संघर्ष से आजादी दिलाई। आपने कभी सोचा है कि बिना मां के बच्चे कैसे पलते हैं। उन बच्चों को जीवन में कितना संघर्ष करना पड़ता होगा। जिनकी मां नहीं है। उन बच्चों के लिए आप ही सोचे कि बेहतर क्या है जीवन या मृत्यु?जीवन की शुरुआत ही ऐसी हो जिसमें जीने के लिए अकेले संघर्ष करना पड़े तो ऐसे जीवन से मृत्यु भली। इस संसार में कई बार मां बच्चे को जन्म देने के बाद कहीं छोड़ देती या किसी स्थान पर डाल देती है। अपने बच्चे को छोड़कर चली जाती है। क्या ऐसे बच्चों के लिए जीवन बेहतर है या उनके लिए मृत्यु सर्वश्रेष्ठ है। एक मां अपने बच्चे को जन्म देकर छोड़ देती है। हम यहां उस माता की मजबूरी के बारे में विचार नहीं करेंगे क्योंकि हम यहां यह जानने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं कि जीवन और मृत्यु में श्रेष्ठ कौन है?
